Mega Hawlucha enters the Pokémon Legends ZA ring

Mega Hawlucha is real!

A new Mega Pokémon has just been announced for Pokémon Legends: ZA , and it's a surprise name: Mega Hawlucha . The reveal came today with a wrestling-style trailer, featuring Hawlucha taking on a mighty Machamp in the ring... but then everything changes.

A spectacular evolution

During the fight, Hawlucha transforms into Mega Hawlucha , surprising both his opponent and the spectators. The new design highlights his wrestling roots: golden feathers, an even brighter and more elaborate mask, and the stage presence of a true protagonist. His movements in the ring are quick, decisive, and choreographed. Every move seems designed to excite the crowd.

Power and provocation

A Pokémon that loves to provoke its opponent and then turn the tide with quick, devastating strikes . Its signature attack becomes even more spectacular in its Mega form, underscoring the mix of agility and power that has always distinguished Hawlucha.

Pokémon Legends: ZA Gets More Interesting

The title, coming to Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 on October 16, 2025 , continues to reveal details at a trickle. Following the announcement of the return of Mega Evolutions, Mega Hawlucha is the third new Pokémon shown in this form after Dragonite and Victreebel.
